Gwenyth & Paltrow
Their family had to move to another home. We don't know the specifics, whether they had to move or just wanted to. What we do know is that the father took Gwenyth & Paltrow to a vet and asked to have them put to sleep, even though his children were hysterically crying and begging him not to do it.
Thankfully, the vet refused, and now Gwenyth & Paltrow are safe with us. They are six years old, and because they are life partners, must be adopted together.
Gwenyth (who we call Gwenie) is exceptionally funny and loving. She bonds very tightly to her people, and will follow them around the house. She can be a bit jealous, but she takes direction very well.
Paltrow (who we call Petie) is also a very affectionate dog. He and Gwenie both like to snuggle in your lap or behind a pillow on the couch for a nap. Petie falls asleep easily as he is a pretty laid back guy.
Both dogs get along well with people and other dogs. They are currently living in a foster home where they bring laughter and joy to their foster family on a daily basis. They have been fully vetted. Petie has even had his teeth cleaned! Both are in excellent health and are ready to move on to their forever home.
They do not appear to be 100% house broken, but they are learning quickly from their step-siblings.
What is clear is that these dogs have been given a second chance at life, thanks to the integrity of the vet who refused to give in to their owners selfish and heartless request.
